I was able to piece together the squares today. It was all the quilting i did in between laundry, dishes and bank run. I will be sending it off to the quilter on Monday and who knows when I'll get it back. So, keep your eyes open for the quilted version. I really wanted to keep this one, but i have someone that's begging for it!

Marcel's Dinosaur Quilt

Here is a picture of Marcel's Dinosaur Quilt, for preschool! I am very proud of myself, this was a kit i bought in the summer from Fat Quarter Queen, i started it in September for his birthday and i finished it today! (I have been trying to buy fabric and actually make it) Still to put the label on his Dino quilt, don't know if it's going to make it on there :) I have put it on his bed, Kristina will have to wash it. I might just add year on it at another date and time. Next are my snowmen, i have about 1/2 way completed on all 16! I think i might be working on them next weekend, i would love to be done with those! Currently working on quilting the pumpkin rummer top i showed you a week ago! It's about 1/2 done! On my list are 4 Christmas stockings, must be done by the end of November. i can do it!! Post people post!

Attic Window Block - the secret !!!

Here is a view of the back which shows the 1-seam secret!!! You sew the 2 triangles together that become the side and bottom window sill with the "window" triangle folded and sandwiched between ... hope this makes sense ?!?! Then the front where the "window" is folded.

Attic Window Block

Here is the 1-seam attic window block (before the applique is added). Carrie's is the green and brown and mine is the blue and brown.

Sue's Cactus Pattern

Here is a picture of all my pieces, i am getting ready to put this puppy down on my background. Jan Hubert has loaned me the pattern and now she needs it back, good thing otherwise it might of taken me longer to put together. It is very hard and challenging. She said, it was good for me to get out of my box and challenge myself. Oh, but she doesn't know about Harvest Song! I had planned on working on it this weekend, i guess it might have to wait yet another visit to Big Bear :) I also have to make a couple baby quilts, one for Annamaria's tea baby shower this coming Sunday in San Dimas. I have all week to quilt something, i will put it on my long arm, as i need some practice! Can't wait to assemble this one though.. I'll post a completed wall hanging hopefully by next month! Stay tuned ladies....

Finished Constructing 15 House Blocks

Yes, i'm participating in the same swap all over again. I have two swaps actually, one at work (9) and (6) at my Monday night circle of friends table. The (9) ones are actually all the same blocks and the Monday night one has a few different fabrics interchanged, still looks nice. Now i have to make all the other accents for the house, 6 are due in Dec and the others in June 2010. The work is in sewing down the pieces and making sure no raw edge are showing. When i get done, i think i'm going put together one big one and bring it up to Big Bear to hang on my wall in the living room. All together there will be 16 blocks for this quilt.. I will also come up with a different finished look.

Lazy Day in Big Bear

Here is a picture of our game, we played two complete games of Gin and i won both! Winner, winner chicken dinner! There's nothing to win though. Now partner might not play with me since i was a very happy WINNER!

Fabric for Stack 'N Wack Class

I wanted to show the "before" pictures of my fabric for the Stack 'N Wack class.

My Stack 'N Wack Block

Here are the different stage fo the one (1) block that I finished in Stack 'N Wack class on Saturday. The teacher, Earlean Miller, was great and Terri Kirk was there helping all of us also. I really like how my block came out, especially because you'd never guess the fabric could do this. All the other ladies made beautiful blocks ... some as many as three (3) !!!
