On Saturday, August 8th, Carolyn and I attended the Nite Owl Quilt Guild "in-house" workshop where Barbara Otzinger taught us the Square In A Square quilt pattern. Here are samples of our blocks. Carolyn's is the black, white, & red and mine are pastels (blue, green, & pink). This was a great class and a great new method for me to make many more quilts in the future!!!

You can't go wrong with a square and a square pattern, anything goes! I'm glad you are trying new methods and creative patterns.. Love them both!
