Sue's Cactus Pattern
Here is a picture of all my pieces, i am getting ready to put this puppy down on my background. Jan Hubert has loaned me the pattern and now she needs it back, good thing otherwise it might of taken me longer to put together. It is very hard and challenging. She said, it was good for me to get out of my box and challenge myself. Oh, but she doesn't know about Harvest Song! I had planned on working on it this weekend, i guess it might have to wait yet another visit to Big Bear :) I also have to make a couple baby quilts, one for Annamaria's tea baby shower this coming Sunday in San Dimas. I have all week to quilt something, i will put it on my long arm, as i need some practice! Can't wait to assemble this one though.. I'll post a completed wall hanging hopefully by next month! Stay tuned ladies....
Finished Constructing 15 House Blocks
Yes, i'm participating in the same swap all over again. I have two swaps actually, one at work (9) and (6) at my Monday night circle of friends table. The (9) ones are actually all the same blocks and the Monday night one has a few different fabrics interchanged, still looks nice. Now i have to make all the other accents for the house, 6 are due in Dec and the others in June 2010. The work is in sewing down the pieces and making sure no raw edge are showing. When i get done, i think i'm going put together one big one and bring it up to Big Bear to hang on my wall in the living room. All together there will be 16 blocks for this quilt.. I will also come up with a different finished look.

My Stack 'N Wack Block
Here are the different stage fo the one (1) block that I finished in Stack 'N Wack class on Saturday. The teacher, Earlean Miller, was great and Terri Kirk was there helping all of us also. I really like how my block came out, especially because you'd never guess the fabric could do this. All the other ladies made beautiful blocks ... some as many as three (3) !!!
