Lesson #5 - Block #5 - Framing Leaves (12)

Oh my gosh!!! I can't believe how difficult this one (1) block was to make. I would not have been able to do it without help from Ricki for each and every step! We were in class for four(4) hours and spent at least 2 1/2 - 3 of those hours just working on this one block! Eleana and Kathy were also successful and made beautiful blocks! I am so glad that Ricki insisted we bring our sewing machines to class and not leave until we had at least one (1) block completed.

Thursday Fun

Fabric Painting

The finished product! It was amazingly fun.. I can't wait to make something with my hand painted fabric. There is more this was just one panel. Yes, i know i should be working on Harvest!

Pillow for Pre-school

Hey, Annamaria... It's the dragon fabric i bought last year on our Palm Springs quilt run. Didn't feel like digging in my bins for other fabric, besides i don't have cute stuff like this... Here's the pillow i made, like i promised to post. I am planning on making a simple quilt to match for nap time.

When you wallpaper, THINK!! Someone's going to say.. "What were you thinkin?"

I want to start posting.. just don't have any finished projects to unveil.. But, here is a picture of MY next project at the cabin. Wallpaper removal in the bathroom. This one was also in a bedroom. The paper was under a padded wall.. "What were they thinkin?" I have decided that i care what people think about my choices of decor.. Therefore, NOT wallpapering at all!

I will be working on a small pillow for Marcel's pre-school and i'll post that when i'm done!
