All 8 Borders Added

Okay ... I decided on 8 borders instead of the original 9 ... not sure exactly why except that it just looked better this way. Now I need to piece the backing fabric (black with bright colored animals) and then it's ready to go to the quilter (not sure who this will be yet either).

Quilt for Connor

This quilt is for the little boy, Connor, that my niece, Michelle, babysat when he was just 6 weeks old until a little while after his first birthday. She is crazy in love with him and still gets to see him sometimes. The middle of the quilt is an ABC Panel from Benartex called Baby Geniuses Grow Up! So far I have added three (3) borders and I have six (6) more to go.

This weekend maybe and mostly not. It's Mothers Day Sunday whoopie... Hallmark holiday as far as I'm concerned. But, I'll keep my chin up and enjoy!
